Real-Time Balance Tracking

Your dashboard shows:

• Current Balance - Available credits in your account
• Today's Usage - What you've spent today
• This Month - Monthly spending summary
• Usage by Model - Breakdown by AI model

Automatic Cost Calculation

Every API request automatically:

1. Counts input and output tokens
2. Calculates cost based on model pricing
3. Deducts from your balance
4. Logs the transaction for your records

Self-Funded (Individual)

Best for individual developers and small projects:

Organization-Funded (Teams)

What Happens When...

You Run Low on Credits

1. Warning at $1.00 - Dashboard notification
2. Alert at $0.50 - Email notification (if enabled)
3. Minimum at $0.10 - Requests paused until you add credits

You'll never be charged unexpectedly - the system stops when credits run out.

You Make a Large Request

Expensive requests (like long conversations with GPT-4) work normally as long as you have sufficient balance. The exact cost is calculated after the response completes.

Payment Fails

• Credits are NOT added until payment succeeds
• No charges to your card if declined
• Clear error message explains the issue
• You can try again or use a different payment method

You Need a Refund

• Within 7 days: Full refund for unused credits
• Unused credits: Generally refundable
• Used credits: Non-refundable (already consumed)
